i dreaded thinking about the one who robbed my heart in 2002.
and though first love ended so soon. so suddenly. so tragicly.
it is the type of love i want all over again. and again. and again.
the kind of unselfish, childish love.

in a past relationship, i was convinced that nobody else would put up with me. i was too guarded. too stubborn. too independent. too everything he found annoying but still, loved me unconditionally.
and i admit, i thought this was what happiness was.
until one day i realized, why do i have to defend who i am in any relationship?
people are surprised, i could be happy with somebody...
growing up, didn’t you think you were just going to finish college, start a career, find somebody you wanted to marry, and start a family? as if, it were really that easy?
